Catalina IT was set up in September 2003 by Greg Ambrose. Greg had previously run his own company (Arcadia Computer Services) in the UK for many years.

On returning to Australia he decided to set up Catalina IT, to specialize in internet technologies, with an emphasis on web applications.

Catalina IT can call on a wide range of expertise both internally and through associate companies when necessary. Catalina IT will always take contractual responsibility for all aspects of any project they take on, giving the client a single point of reference.

Projects are usually undertaken on a fixed price basis. Once a client's requirements have been assessed, Catalina IT will provide a fixed price quote for the work involved.
